We are looking for a Functional Analyst to work for an EU institution based in Brussels.
As a Functional Analyst, you will be part of a highly skilled team that designs, develops, deploys, customizes, and supports the development and implementation of large-scale applications regarding EU Institutions Projects.
If you have
- Master's Degree plus 5 years or Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of ICT experience.
- At least 5 years of experience working with IT projects in an analytical role requiring interfacing with both business and technical teams.
- Capacity to analyze and organize information from various sources.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking (understanding the business objective; capacity to offer pragmatic solutions with associated SWOT analysis).
- Experience in the application of analytical methodologies and techniques (e.g., prototyping, design patterns, use cases, BPM/BPMN, UML, etc.).
- Experience with requirements definition, interface definition, workflow systems, test cases, and user support.
- Expertise in information systems architecture, business, and functional analysis, software design, testing, and training, acquired through information systems’ implementation and maintenance.
- Expertise in IT project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, PMM4EP/ENGAGE, etc.), with analysis tools (mind mapping, root cause analysis, etc.).
- Experience with the use and understanding of standard techniques of IT development with a proven track record e.g. on user case definitions, acceptance criteria, wireframes, UML diagrams, and business rules, etc.
- Experience with the definition of needs, interface definition, workflow systems, test scenarios, and user support.
- Knowledge of English and/or French (at least B2 level)
