We have a great opportunity for a Senior Demand Planner to support US & Canada. This position will ideally be based in Geel, Belgium, but we will also consider UK based applications to find the right talent. Due to the time zone difference, the role requires flexibility.
What YOU will do here at LifeScan:
As Senior Demand Planner, you will be part of the Commercial Operations team within our Supply Chain group and will be responsible for managing and leading collaborative monthly forecasting process and demand review with the commercial team, consolidating and aggregating the demand plan for a designated group of countries. You will have the opportunity to work in an international environment with internal and external stakeholders spread across the globe. You have a broad understanding of Supply Chain processes, demonstrate business sense, and collaborate constructively (influence, challenge, and support) with a broad range of functions, both from a commercial and operations point of view. You have a good sense for gathering, analyzing data, and drawing conclusions, which is crucial to be successful in this position.
Responsibilities will include:
- You will own and lead a collaborative monthly forecasting process and demand review with the commercial team.
- You will build, maintain, and adjust SKU level forecasts for LifeScan markets within a dedicated region (US/CA).
- You will make sure all forecasts are in line with financial and go to market objectives by partnering with other functions like sales, supply planning, sales operations, and finance.
- You will provide recommended adjustments to the forecast based on market insights.
- You will monitor any changes in forecast and assessing the impact on inventory, making recommendations to solve inventory imbalances.
- You will take responsibility for optimal forecast accuracy by mastering the demand planning process, through best usage of tools, and ways of working closely with internal stakeholders. Reviewing business analytics, demand trend analyses and scenario modelling to drive forecast improvement.
- You will drive, improve, and document the demand planning process (techniques, /method/approach) and tools) Working within cross-functional teams across multiple locations to deliver project/initiative goals.
- You will collaborate with team of demand planners (training, coaching, work repartition) to assure continuity and knowledge sharing across the team.
About YOU:
In order to be successful in this role, you will be degree qualified in a relevant supply chain business discipline, with +5 years' proven experience in Demand Planning within a multinational company.
You will have:
- Thorough understanding and experienced in E2E supply chain planning.
- Strong knowledge of and experience in successfully leading process improvement-focused projects.
- Proficient in MS Office product suite, good Excel skills.
- ERP experience (Oracle JDE or other).
- Demand Planning tools experience (Rapid Response or other).
