What are we looking for?
Being a direct sales company, client contact, organizing test rides and events as well offering proper bike service is key to the success of our brand and sales development. As B2B Sales & Event Specialist you will be actively involved in managing and extending our service partner (bike shop) network and develop new B2B cooperations to achieve defined sales goals and increase brand awareness. Moreover, you will you will play a key role in overseeing all the activities related to our events and bike fairs. Occasionally, you will be helping out in our BZEN Brand Shop.
What are your responsibilities?
B2B sales activities:
- Service Partner Search: Extending the BZEN partner & ambassador network by searching and recruiting new bike shops to become official BZEN service partner.
- Service Partner Management: Supporting the onboarding of new service partners and provide first-line support in cooperation with the rest of our team
- B2B cooperation: Initiate new cooperations with companies or hotels for bike fleets, set up and managing of new leasing contracts, organization of B2B test events.
Event Management
- Events logistics & preparation: Managing logistics for the events and fairs (up to 15 per year) to guarantee a customer-friendly set-up and service (e.g. drive to events, mount and disassemble material, maintain event material, secure on time arrival of event material & personnel)
- Events participation: Present BZEN bikes’ USPs and support marketing team in putting content on social media channels.
- Events follow-up: Securing follow-up of prospective clients and preparation post-event reports (biking market trends, information about competitors, consumer insights).
Your profile
- You are fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken). Excellent knowledge of German is an advantage. Good knowledge of French is also seen as a plus.
- You have some decent knowledge and are passionate about e-bikes or bikes in general and/or motivated to dive into and learn more about our bikes and technology.
- Previous experiences (min. 3 years) in sales and/or event management related position.
- You have a positive attitude and are a good communicator.
- You have good project management and organizational skills.
- You can stay calm under pressure and are problem-solving minded.
- You have excellent sales skills.
- You like travelling around and you have a driving license. Most of the events are taking place during the weekends in different cities in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Depending on the demand, participation in events in other EU countries will also be required.

Other information
- Expected start date: as soon as possible
- Contract: Full-time, permanent contract
- Place of employment: You can work remotely but you should be located in or close to Antwerp. You will regularly work and meet in our office at our Brand Shop in Antwerp.
- Travelling: Germany, Belgium, and Netherlands with up to 15 events per year, mainly during weekends (working time on weekends will be compensated accordingly).
