Edmac Europe is an ambitious customer-driven company, which is selling components for compressors with customers from across the world. As part of an industry leader within this market, our objective is to be the one-stop-shop for all organizations who want to procure parts, consumables or lubricants for compressors. Our customers are all small to medium sized companies, which are located in more than 60 different countries.


To further support our growth, we are currently looking for an inside sales officer.


Responsibilities:

As an Inside Sales Officer, your responsibilities are:


You maintain the customer relations and you guarantee our customers an excellent daily service.

You are the point of contact for the customers in your region

You process requests by preparing and delivering tenders and technical documents

You also assist the sales team in boosting sales and performance. This responsibility can include setting up appointments or following up with customers after their first interaction with a salesperson. You listen to the customer’s needs and propose and implement improvements to support the further development.

You call customers when additional information is required to process the request

You follow up on customers (propose solutions in case of problems (warranty, delivery...)

You receive telephone calls from customers

You handle administrative matters (following up mailboxes, updating customer data, creating new customers)

You assist your colleagues where necessary

You strive to maximize customer satisfaction and take actions to promote customer satisfaction

You work together with customer service to assist customers in the best way possible

You follow up on quotations

You keep the CRM up to date by updating item master data, creating new items and customers


Requirements:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-driven, no-nonsense professional with ideally a background in internal sales and/or business development and/or customer support:

  • Bachelor degree and/or 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar function
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with ERP systems is an advantage
  • Knowledge of English is a must. Knowledge of one other language is an advantage.
