What is this position about?
As a Field Service Engineer you are responsible for carrying out service visits for our instruments at customers in Belgium and Luxembourg.
You work together with a team of Service Coordinators who are responsible for the planning and follow-up of the service activities with a view to customer satisfaction and return on investment.
Task + Challenge
- You are in charge of commissioning, repairs and the maintenance of our instruments as well as the calibrations.
- You advise and inform customers about the applications and its use.
- You propose solutions to customers aimed at improving service and maintenance.
- You regularly process the administration of the work performed.
- You provide training and instruction to employees at customers.
- You maintain a good communication with customers and you attach great importance to customer satisfaction and return on investment.
Qualification + profile
- You completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electricity or Electromechanics.
- A specialization in measurement and control technology or process automation is an added value
- A relevant work experience of at least 2 years in the Industry
- You speak fluently Dutch and French and you have good notions in English or German
- You work easily with MS Office
- You are solution-oriented and able to work accurately, independently and structured.
