field is rapidly becoming more data-driven, where we strive towards offering state-of-the-art data
science, bioinformatics, statistics and AI solutions to support our customers with true data-driven
knowledge generation. Our habitat is the stretch of land where biologists and data scientists,
computer scientists and statisticians, both experts and juniors, both academics and company
employees meet.

As a biostatistics/bioinformatics scientist, you are actively collaborating with the (pre)clinical, R&D or
data science departments of our customers. You will be designing and implementing data analysis
plans and workflows for diverse applications in the life sciences. You are able to delegate tasks and
provide guidance to your junior colleagues. Advanced statistical methods and experimental design
are familiar to you, and you are comfortable working with biological and/or clinical data. You play an
important role as the point of contact for our customers and our large and diverse network of private
partners and academic specialists, where you will get the opportunity to grow and flourish in the
booming international life science ecosystem.

Job requirements

• Expertise in advanced (bio)statistics is a must (e.g. MSc in Biostatistics)
• Expertise in (molecular/cell) biology, biomedical sciences and bioinformatics is desired
• Experience with clinical trials research is desirable
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (R, Python,...) is a must
• Experience in data science, AI or data mining of scientific or healthcare data is a plus
• Software development skills are considered an advantage
• Willing and able to learn and implement new technologies
• Fluent in English, with very good communication skills
• Location: Belgium (office/hybrid), The Netherlands (future office/hybrid), or neighboring

countries (hybrid: France, Germany, Luxembourg …).
